Dolly Niemiec Konwinski

Hometown: Chicago, IL

Dolly grew up playing baseball in her neighborhood in Chicago, and said she “wanted to be on the ball field since I can remember.”* After playing for the Chicago Colleens and Springfield Sallies, Dolly was an infielder for the Chicks for the 1950 through 1952 seasons. Her career was cut short after injuries from a car accident. Dolly lived in Grand Rapids after playing for the Chicks, and was also a successful professional bowler.
